Charcuterie Defined

Charcuterie is a French term for a branch of cooking devoted to prepared meat products, such as bacon, ham, sausage, terrines, salamis, ballotines, pâtés, and confit.

A nice wooden cutting board or wooden tray to build onto.
A sharp knife to cut thin slices of the meats
A few pieces of cheese such as Brie, Swiss cheese, Cheddar, maybe some Boursin spreadable cheese, whatever cheeses your family enjoys.
Fruit such as grapes, fresh figs cut in pieces, pears sliced, or dried fruit like apricots.
You might add a few olives.
