Spring 2019 - Chamberlain. SD
Our group of five hunters had a phenomenal 3 day hunt at Rooster Ridge West Lodge. Our guide Todd was excellent. Best guide we have ever had and we do a lot of traveling hunts. There were plenty of pheasants, great bird dogs and wonderful habitat. We packed on the calories with some fabulous meals. All services were commendable As you can see we had a great time. It was a 10 plus.
Late season 2018 - Chesterfield S.C.
We absolutely had a blast here. Travis, our guide was hands down the best I’ve ever seen. He is very compassionate about what he does and it shows in work. We were able to limit out every day and the accommodations and food were out of this world. Bottom line you won’t go wrong here!
Winter Pheasant Hunt SD
Hi Guys! This is the auction hunt that Our DU chapter offered through GAGE Expeditions[world class fishing and hunting operation]….Our DU chapter awarded this hunt to us because we have been such a successful Chapter….it is certainly nice to be with a “winning team” …. Thanks to Mike Mezrah and his leadership through the years, we get some bonus’s like Rooster Ridge Lodge.. I fully recommend it especially in the snow… Mark your calendar for our annual spring banquet May 3rd at The Palma Ceia country club..

GOOD GUIDE - RAY DID A GREAT JOB AND ATTITUDE - HE COMPLIMENTS YOUR TEAM WELL., HIS WIFE THE COORDINATOR OF THE OFFICE IS EXCELLENT TO WORK WITH. IT WAS GREAT TO HAVE THE LICENSES READY TO GO WHEN WE ARRIVED. ONE OF THE HUNTING DOG - JAKE - IS MY HERO. AMAZING TO SEE THAT DUDE JUMP OVER A CLIFF TO FETCH A GLIDING WOUNDED BIRD. WISH WE HAD THAT ON CAMERA... BUT FOREVER ETCHED IN MY MIND. I APPRECIATED THE CLEAN LODGE. THANKS FOR A GREAT HUNT! Gary
Fall Pheasant Hunt - Charlotte, NC
Everyone at Rooster Ridge Lodge / Thunderstik was phenomenal. Our guides, Travis and Troy, were the best. If there was anything at all that we needed, then they took care of it. They became good friends. The pheasant hunting was incredible and we all bagged our limit each day. The scenery of the landscape was incredible and the pheasant habitat is pristine. The accomodations were very spacious and comfortable, and the hunt could not have gone better. I definitely plan to bring our group back next year.
Our group really enjoyed our hunting at Rooster Ridge. The birds were plenty, wonderful hospitality and food. Our guide, Travis, went above and beyond ensuring we were able to hunt the best cover for our pointing dogs; he exceeded our expectations in every way. We look forward to returning for a hunt in the future. Thanks for the great time!
